YOUR MISSION

The FP&A Analyst will play a vital role in day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategic planning, collaborating across departments to provide real-time insights to Nulogy’s Executive Leadership Team, Investors and Board and model future outcomes that drive strategic decision making and growth. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer of Nulogy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • A lead role in building and continuously improving all reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes—monthly updates, quarterly recasts and annual planning--
    • On-time and accurate monthly reporting that provides a complete and comprehensive financial overview of company performance, including key financial and efficiency metrics (such as CAC, LTV, etc.) and performance indicators
    • Analyze trends across all financial statements, comparing results to projections, identifying and explaining drivers of variances
  • Development and ongoing support of corporate financial models that detail the company’s historical and projected operations--
    • 12-month rolling and long-range planning
    • Compensation and resourcing
    • Cash forecasting of both short-term (13-week) and long-term
    • Product and Customer P&L’s
    • Scenario and “what if” modeling
    • Oversight of lender covenants
  • Full ownership of financial databases by collecting, organizing and analyzing a wide range of internal and external data sources--
    • At the core of this is our ARR database that requires ongoing maintenance and a deep understanding of our customer contract structure, segmentation, and retention metrics to model customer-level revenue performance
  • Seamless integration with Nulogy’s RevOps team to align GTM insights with financial forecasts, driving accurate ARR modeling, sales capacity planning and performance analytics
  • Ability to proactively identify areas of opportunity and implement scalable process improvements or tools, such as 3rd party solutions to lessen reliance on Excel
  • Assistance and support of Executive projects, analysis and investor requests
  • On-time preparation and analysis of standard reporting packages, Board materials, other distributed materials
  • Collaborative relationships with functional leaders to review monthly actuals vs. approved Budget and adjustments to reforecasts as needed
  • Integration of future M&A efforts
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3-5 years of prior experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking or similar in a high-growth SaaS company
  • Experience as a Power user of Microsoft Excel (INDEX-MATCH, OFFSET functions, etc.) and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
  • A mastery of financial modeling and a strong grasp of financial statements, including concepts and dependencies
  • The highest standards of accuracy and precision with ability to present clear and focused analysis of complex topics in a straightforward way
  • Detailed-oriented with strong analytical, planning and organizational skills
  • Handling of sensitive and confidential financial information in the most professional manner
  • A strong sense of personal motivation, responsibility, and initiative with a natural curiosity and intuition to “anticipate the next question”
